“MR 73″ is the third in a trilogy of police thrillers that Olivier Marchal began in 2002 with “Gangsters” and followed up two years later with “Department 36.” It also is far and away the darkest of the three movies. While its resolutely dour tone and downbeat ending might deter younger spectators, the convincing portrayal of a cop at the end of his tether should pay off handsomely with mature audiences in many territories.

A washed-up Marseilles cop (Auteuil) earns a chance at redemption by protecting a woman from the man who killed her parents as he is about to be released from prison.

Also Armstrong must deal with his past history of violence and make sure he doesn’t fall again.

At a time when gang violence is on the rise in many U.S. cities, a new movie is being released called “Saving God” that deals with the gang issue. The movie is a heart-felt tale of the eternal struggle between good and evil. Andre van Heerden, the producer of “Saving God,” told Celebrity News Service that when people see the movie they will walk away with the knowledge that “no one is beyond redemption.” He added, “Regardless of where you are in your life now, or in the past, there is a way to turn around.”

Haven’t seen a new REFiNED HDRiP release for a while, they come back with this 2007 action/comedy movie “Code Name: The Cleaner”. The poster looks familiar to me, but I’m sure I haven’t watched this one before. Could it be worth watching, I don’t know, coz it is only rated 3.9 on IMDB. So if you are a comedy fan and you don’t have anything to watch right now, maybe you could have a try.

PLOT: Jake wakes up in a hotel room beside a dead FBI agent and a suitcase full of money. He does not remember anything, indicating that he is suffering from amnesia. As he runs from the hotel he is met by Diane, who tells Jake that she is his wife. Diane takes Jake to a big mansion and calls the doctor to check him. Diane and the doctor discuss how to bring back Jake’s memory and the doctor suggests a sexual scenario. Jake overhears Diane and the doctor’s conversation and runs away from the mansion in a Benz with the money. Jake goes back to the hotel in disguise and gets an envelope at the reception office which has a D.A.R.T card in it. During this course of the plot he keeps getting flash episodes of him dressed as a special ops guy and fighting bad guys. He is convinced that he is a spy and forgot about it. He now sits at a diner in front of D.A.R.T and meets Gina here. She tells him that Jake works as a janitor at D.A.R.T, which he does not believe.

Asian movie scene group BiEN pred this movie yesterday. It has 8.0 rating on IMDB, though only 7 votes. Since it is produced in Hongkong, the language is cantonese for sure. Technically speaking, my first language is cantonese, so I would like this one. For those English speaker, BiEN also contains English sub in their release for you. Enjoy!

I just watched this movie last night. But if I had known it would come out in HDRiP from SEPTiC today, I would have waited for it. Anyway, I still think it is a good movie to watch if you are a horror fan. The story is inspired by true events happened in the United States. After watching it, you might think that those violent crimes can happen to us from nowhere anytime.

PLOT: After returning from a wedding reception, a couple staying in an isolated vacation house receive a knock on the door in the mid-hours of the night. What ensues is a violent invasion by three strangers, their faces hidden behind masks. The couple find themselves in a violent struggle, in which they go beyond what either of them thought capable in order to survive.

Another B movie from Vomit, this time its a horror. Got pretty bad rating + some bad reviews. Check it out of you want.

After a college art class in which students are required to draw a nude model, ILENE (Robin Sydney), encounters one of the students, a young man named CALEB (Marc Senter),  who starts to awkwardly chat and walk her home.  On the way, Caleb makes bizarre small talk, culminating in a bizarre goodbye on her front steps in which Caleb makes a strange request.  Ilene complies and Caleb runs off.  At home, Ilene lives with her three super hot roommates: HELEN (Eryn Joslyn), pretty, with a hint of retro cool sophistication, MARY (Carlee Baker), prim and curvy and JILL (Eve Mauro), freewheeling and raunchy.

Caleb returns to his home where he lives with family- PALMER (Damian DeKay), his older brother; FRED (Justin Stone), a spastic middle brother and SIR JIM (Frank Birney), an older wheelchair-bound man dressed in a military-style uniform, circa World War I with an IV bag and needle running into his arm.  Palmer berates Caleb for being late.  It’s clear who’s the “master of the house.”
